2003–2007 Honda Accord Oil Type & Capacity
Honda's owner's manuals for the 2003–2007 Accord call for 5W-20 in every year. Capacity with a filter change: 2.4L 4-cylinder 4.4 US qt (4.2 L); 3.0L V6 4.5 US qt (4.3 L). No Honda manual for 2004 was available to check, so that year carries no figures here.
Four of the five model years here agree on everything. The 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007 manuals all call for 5W-20, and all list 4.4 US qt (4.2 L) for the 2.4L four-cylinder and 4.5 qt (4.3 L) for the 3.0L V6, each with a filter change. No mid-generation switch and no capacity change between years.
The gap is 2004. Honda's manual for that year wasn't available to us, so this page doesn't give a grade or a capacity for it. With identical neighbors on either side, it's tempting to fill in the blank, but a guess isn't a spec. Read the filler cap before you buy, check the specifications section of your own manual if it's still in the glovebox, and fill by the dipstick rather than by a number.

The 2004 model year: going by the cap and the dipstick
If your filler cap shows an oil grade, that's the grade the engine was built for, and it's the quickest answer for a 2004. Wipe it clean first; a worn cap is easy to misread. The owner's manual lists both the grade and the change capacity in its specifications section near the back.
Without a manual figure, fill in stages. Pour well short of a full jug, run the engine briefly so the new filter fills, shut it off and wait on level ground, then read the dipstick. Add a little at a time until the level reaches the upper mark. Pulling oil back out is a messier job than adding more.
One car this table doesn't cover: the 2005–2007 Accord Hybrid. It has its own Honda manual and its own engine, so don't take its figures from the rows above.
